Home vs Commercial Scent Diffusers: What Is the Difference?
Both a home aroma diffuser and a commercial scent diffuser spread fragrance oil into the air, but they are built for very different spaces.
1. The space they cover
Home diffusers are made for bedrooms, living rooms and small spaces. Commercial scent machines are made for offices, shops, hotel lobbies and halls, and large-space models can cover much bigger areas. Each product page lists the area the device is made for.
2. Installation
A home device sits on a shelf or table near a power outlet. Commercial devices can be wall-mounted, or connected to the air-conditioning ducts (HVAC) so the scent travels with the air through the whole space.
3. Technology
Some home devices use water and oil; others are waterless. Many commercial machines use cold-air (nebulizing) diffusion, turning pure fragrance oil into a fine dry mist without water or heat.
4. Control
Smart models in both ranges connect by Bluetooth, so you can set running times and intensity from your phone. In a business, a schedule matters more: the scent runs during opening hours and stops after.
5. Oil use and cost
A bigger space uses more oil. Home users usually buy smaller refills; businesses often prefer larger sizes (our oils go up to 500 ml) or bulk orders.
Which one do you need?
One room or a small flat: a home diffuser. An office, a shop or a hotel: a commercial or large-space device. Not sure? Send us your space size and we will suggest one.
